At Gunstock Ski Club (GSC), we view skiing as a life long sport. Our primary goal is to foster a love of skiing within athletes. In the process our athletes learn how to ski race.
GSC is a USSA and NHARA sanctioned race-training program for athletes age 6 to 20. Training takes place out of our clubhouse facility at the Gunstock Mountain Resort. Athletes can train weekends, school vacation weeks, and at night during the ski season.
Nonprofit Status - GSC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that derives it operating funds from training fees charged to participating families as well as through three major fundraising events.
The club was established in 1918 as the Winnipesaukee Ski Club, and is one of the oldest organized ski club in New Hampshire. Our members are from the local communities, as well as all corners of New England.
GSC operates independently from the Gunstock Mountain Resort, but we work together with the mountain’s administration so that both can benefit.
We realize there is great deal of information on the website and that can be a bit overwhelming; however, we want to be sure that families understand the total commitment GSC involves before signing up. At GSC we prides ourselves in providing your athletes with a fun, exciting way to learn to love skiing and ski racing at as reasonable a cost as possible. To keep costs low, we ask for parent commitments. We hope you will join our team!
