We ask that members of the Gunstock Ski Club contribute to the operations of the club by participating in the Dinner Auction, working at the Ski Sale, and staffing positions required to run the ski races hosted at Gunstock.
These three events provide significant income to the club. The proceeds from the dinner auction are currently designated towards a major renovation and expansion project for the clubhouse. The income from the ski sale and races are used to cover operational expenses not covered by member dues and training fees.
We realize these are large commitments, and can be difficult for families with children traveling to different parts of the state for races. Over the years we've struggled with the trade off between the number of races we host, the impact on member dues and the time members have to commit to the operations of the club. We hope we have found an approach that works for most families.
